What we collect, and what we do not.

This covers soulcontractcalculator.com and the Soul Contract Readings iOS app. Both are operated by Tether Studio LLC. Everything below describes what actually happens, not what is theoretically permitted.
The short version. Casting a chart is free and anonymous, and in the app it never leaves your device. Buying a reading requires a name and an email address, because a reading has to be written from one and delivered to the other. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used to advertise to you anywhere.
What is collected
A birth name, and sometimes a date of birth
The chart is calculated from the name. On this website the calculation happens in your browser. In the app it happens on your phone, offline, and the name is not sent anywhere unless you buy a reading.
A date of birth is asked for only by the Year of Activation reading, which is timed to your age. It is optional everywhere else.
An email address
Required when you buy a reading. It is what the finished reading is sent to, and what lets you recover your readings later on a new phone or after reinstalling the app. It is not added to a marketing list unless you separately ask to be.
A notification token, in the app only
If you allow notifications, the app registers an anonymous device token so it can tell you when your reading has finished writing. It identifies a device, not a person, and it is used for that one message.
Website traffic, in aggregate
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and referrers without cookies and without building a profile of you. The app collects no analytics at all.
What is not collected
- No card numbers. Payment happens on Stripe's own checkout page and card details are never sent to us or stored by us.
- No account, no password, no sign in. There is nothing to log into.
- No location, no contacts, no photos, no microphone, no camera.
- No advertising identifiers, and no tracking of you across other apps or websites.
Who else sees it
A reading is written by an AI model, which means the chart and the name are sent to a model provider to produce it. The list is short and complete:
- Stripe, for payment. They receive your payment details directly and we receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded.
- Anthropic and Google, whose models write the readings. They receive the chart and the name, and do not receive your email address.
- Resend, which delivers the email your reading arrives in.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site and stores finished readings.
- Apple, which delivers notifications to the app.
Nobody else. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.
How long it is kept
A finished reading is stored for one year, so the link in your email keeps working and so it can be recovered on a new device. Unfinished jobs are cleared after an hour. In the app, your charts and readings are stored on your own phone and deleting the app deletes them.
Deleting your information
Email support@tetherstudio.app from the address you bought with and everything held against it will be deleted, including your readings. No reason needed. Doing this removes your ability to recover those readings later, so save a PDF first if you want to keep them.
In the app you can delete any individual chart or reading yourself, at any time, from the tab where they are listed.
Children
This is not intended for or directed at children under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
